Costello van Steenis is the PFL middleweight champion. The record is 18–3–0: six knockouts, eight submissions, three decisions, and one disqualification.
He won the inaugural middleweight title against Johnny Eblen at PFL Champions Series 2 on July 19, 2025, by rear-naked choke with seconds left in the fifth round. The one defense is a third-round knockout of Fabian Edwards at PFL Madrid on March 20, 2026.
Eblen later won an interim title after van Steenis withdrew from the July 18, 2026 rematch. The undisputed belt stays filed here. The disqualification win is an illegal kick against Marcin Naruszczka at PLMMA 72. All three losses are decisions.
