Taiki Naito fights at flyweight in ONE, in kickboxing and Muay Thai.
Toyohashi is his hometown. His mother put him in karate in preschool so he would learn discipline, and she allowed a professional career only after a national karate title, which he won a year later.
A kickboxing gym in Toyohashi took him at 14, the pro debut came the next year in high school, and at 18 he won the Shoot Boxing Japan super bantamweight title. He trains at Bell Wood Fight Team beside Hiroaki Suzuki, a former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai title challenger.
The ONE debut was a TKO of Alexi Serepisos at 2:45 of the third round on October 25, 2019. Eleven of the ONE bouts are Muay Thai.
