Poirier answered on Wednesday that Buckley was trying to get views and told him to shut up or kill him, and Strickland posted a spar in which he dropped Buckley.

Dustin Poirier fights at lightweight in the UFC.
Lafayette, Louisiana is his birthplace. He trains at American Top Team in Coconut Creek, Florida, and the pro debut was a first-round knockout of Aaron Suarez on May 16, 2009.
The first fight was in 2007. Tim Credeur gave him the nickname The Diamond when he reached the WEC, he holds a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and he collected aluminum cans and picked pecans before he fought.
The amateur record was 8-1, with two belts at lightweight, including an eight-man tournament in Iowa over two days, and he held three pro belts at lightweight.
The WEC record was 1-1, and the last of those bouts was a 53-second TKO of Zack Micklewright on November 11, 2010. The Octagon debut was a unanimous decision over Josh Grispi on January 1, 2011.
