Julian Erosa retires on a first-round knockout of JeongYeong Lee at 1:31. Erosa finished with punches, and referee Chris Tognoni stopped it. The fight was on the preliminary card of UFC Fight Night at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas on Saturday, October 31, and Erosa had said beforehand that the bout would be his last, win or lose.
Lee dropped Erosa with a left hook in the first 15 seconds and hunted a guillotine. Erosa stood up, a right hand dropped Lee, and the finish came on the ground. Erosa moves to 32-13, and 10-9 in the UFC, and Lee falls to 11-4, and 1-3 in the UFC. Erosa is 37, and Lee is 30. The bout sends Erosa’s family back to Washington, to the family farm, and he said his priorities changed when his son was born.
Lerryan Douglas knocked Erosa out at 3:33 of the first round on March 28, 2026. Daniel Santos beat Lee by unanimous decision at 5:00 of the third round at UFC 315 on May 10, 2025, and Hyder Amil stopped Lee at 1:05 of the first round on July 20, 2024.
The bonuses
The finish paid a $100,000 Performance of the Night bonus, and Tom Nolan, Joe Kropschot, and Lucia Szabova received the same check. Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani and Rodrigo Sezinando received $25,000 for their finishes, and there was no Fight of the Night.
