Moicano meets Nolan to close October

Renato Moicano meets Tom Nolan to close October in Nolan’s first UFC main event and his first five-round fight, at lightweight at UFC Fight Night on Saturday, October 31, at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas. Lightweight is 155 pounds (70 kg).

The matchups

Moicano is a former lightweight title challenger, he submitted Chris Duncan with a rear-naked choke at 3:14 of the second round on April 4, and Moicano is 21-7-1. Nolan is 11-1, on a five-fight winning streak, and Nolan beat Fares Ziam by unanimous decision at 5:00 of the third round on June 6.

The co-main is at welterweight. Randy Brown is 20-8, and Jacobe Smith is 13-0 and took the bout on short notice. Smith stopped Bruce Whitehead by TKO at 1:32 of the first round at UFC 332 on October 3.

The rest of the main card, in the order the UFC posted it: Ode’ Osbourne vs. Cody Durden, Yana Kunitskaya vs. Luana Santos, and Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani vs. Farman Hasanov. The bouts before the main event are three rounds.
