Johnny Walker took the short-notice main event against Waldo Cortes Acosta on Saturday, November 7, at 265 pounds (120 kg) at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, which the card story books. The event is UFC Vegas 124.

Johnny Walker is 34 and 23-10, with one no contest, and he is unbeaten at heavyweight. On October 3 he knocked out Mick Parkin with a knee at 3:35 of the first round, and he said he goes in to hurt the other fighter.

The brothers trained together in Russia, and Valter’s posts online hurt feelings in the family. Johnny Walker said Valter can train with him in Las Vegas, and that he cannot stay at the house.
