Kongthoranee says Rodtang knocks out Nong-O

Kongthoranee Sor Sommai says Rodtang Jitmuangnon knocks out Nong-O Hama. He told ONE.

The flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix does not include him. Sor Sommai is his camp. Kongthoranee is 29 and 12-6 in ONE, and he is a three-time Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai world champion, and the tournament winner wears that title.

Kongthoranee meets Taiki Naito in flyweight kickboxing on November 6 at ONE Fight Night 49, which the Gabriel card lists.

Rodtang meets Nong-O in a quarterfinal at The Inner Circle 38 on Friday, November 13, at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, which the quarterfinal story covers. Both cards stream for members on live.onefc.com.

Kongthoranee favors Rodtang for youth, a broader arsenal, and heavy power, and Kongthoranee puts the split at 60 percent for Rodtang. Nong-O’s nickname is the Unkillable King, and Kongthoranee called him older and still strong.

They have fought three times. Kongthoranee won a split decision at 3:00 of the third round at ONE Fight Night 28 in February 2025. Nong-O won a unanimous decision at 3:00 of the third round at ONE Fight Night 31 on May 2, 2025. Nong-O won the third meeting by unanimous decision at 3:00 of the third round at The Inner Circle 20 on June 26.

Rodtang is 29 and 17-3 in ONE, and Nong-O is 39 and 13-5 in ONE.

Kongthoranee said the admiration is simple, because Rodtang is Rodtang. A mistake, he said, gets a fighter dropped.

This is Rodtang’s first Muay Thai bout since 2024, and Rodtang and Takeru Segawa split their two kickboxing bouts.

Kongthoranee said neither man can leave an opening.

Asadula Imangazaliev meets Aslamjon Ortikov in the other quarterfinal, on Friday, November 20, at The Inner Circle 39, which the rematch story covers.

Kongthoranee lost a unanimous decision to Ortikov at 3:00 of the third round at ONE Fight Night 36 in October 2025. Imangazaliev knocked Kongthoranee out at 1:06 of the second round at ONE Fight Night 39 in January 2026.

Imangazaliev beat Ortikov by split decision over five rounds at The Inner Circle 20 and took the vacant title. Kongthoranee says Imangazaliev knocks out Ortikov, and Kongthoranee favors the champion for a wider variety of strikes. Speed is Ortikov’s edge, he said, and the defense is less sound.

Joe Rogan has called Imangazaliev one of his favorite strikers. Kongthoranee described fast, heavy strikes from unpredictable angles, and Imangazaliev is undefeated.

The champion keeps the 26-pound (12 kg) belt, Kongthoranee said, and goes on to the semifinals.
