Rodtang meets Nong-O in the quarterfinals

Rodtang Jitmuangnon meets Nong-O Hama in the quarterfinals on Friday, November 13, at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok. The bout is in the ONE flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix, on The Inner Circle 38, and the winner goes to the semifinals. Asadula Imangazaliev holds the flyweight title, and the tournament pays a silver belt and a path to that title. ONE is putting that title on the line in every round of the bracket, so the bouts are five rounds.

Rodtang is a former flyweight champion. Rodtang is 29 and 17-3. That is the ONE record, and ONE ranks him second at flyweight. He made five defenses in that reign, and a win would be his 275th as a professional. Nong-O is a former bantamweight champion. Nong-O is 39 and 13-5. That is the ONE record, and ONE ranks Nong-O third at flyweight. He made seven defenses in that reign, and Nong-O has 268 professional wins. In the clip ONE posted on November 1, the two say they have known each other a long time.

The vacant-title booking at ONE 173 was in Tokyo in November 2025. Rodtang made weight, then fell ill during fight week and was hospitalized. Nong-O missed weight. The bout was pulled. Since then, Rodtang lost the interim flyweight kickboxing title to Takeru Segawa by TKO at 2:22 of the fifth round on April 29 at ONE Samurai 1, in Takeru’s retirement fight. It was Rodtang’s first knockout loss in ONE. Takeru Segawa beat Rodtang with a left hook at 1:20 of the first round at ONE 172 in March 2025. Rodtang re-signed in July. Nong-O lost to Imangazaliev by knockout at 0:44 of the second round on March 20. Imangazaliev had missed weight, so the vacant title was not awarded. Nong-O then beat Kongthoranee Sor Sommai by unanimous decision at 3:00 of the third round at The Inner Circle 20 on June 26. That was their third fight.

Shimon Yoshinari meets Ramadan Ondash in the other quarterfinal on the card. Shimon is a former WBC Muay Thai world champion and is unbeaten in ONE. Ondash fights out of Lebanon.
